I’m Ry,

I’m a multidisciplinary artist and designer working at the intersection of fashion, material storytelling, and cultural memory. My work bridges handcraft (macramé, printmaking, textiles) and digital media to explore identity, resilience, and regeneration.
This portfolio includes selected works from my brand RÜTD — wearable sculptures made with reclaimed rope, slow-built garments, and evolving visual narratives that act as both fashion and artifact. I also share original fabric prints and zine work that reflect my interest in world-building and independent publishing.
I’m drawn to this residency because I see it as a chance to go deeper — to pause, observe, and experiment without needing a finished product, and to engage with peers pushing abstraction in fresh and honest ways.

A series of five refurbished basketball hoops, with macramé mosaic nets. These pieces will be a part of an art installation in mid-May.
